There was a brief moment I felt helpless during the semi-finals, as if I was still the third-team player who admired Ryuka and Sera, who wasn't worthy to be the ace of the team... But after seeing the vanguard of Shindoji attacking with a smile even in that kind of a desperate situation reminded me that winning is nothing compared to the joy of playing... Responsibilities and objectives might be important and heavy, but what I want to do the most is to enjoy playing Mahjong, no matter what comes next, just like I did in the beginning.

If I'm really focused, I can indeed foresee the outcome after two or even three turns. But doing so makes me sick. That's why I've promised Ryuka not to do such a risky thing. It may be a pity, but it hurts me more to see Ryuka getting upset... I guess I'll just follow her advice.

It's not like I can make anyone's knees my pillow. I have pretty strict requirements for that. It must not be too thick or thin, and it must not have any muscles, as only the perfect amount of meat can create excellent flexibility. If one's lap couldn't reach such perfect balance, then it would only be considered a typical lap and not the perfect knee pillow. As of now, only Ryuka's can be considered a lap pillow.

Even if there's a difference in strength, with some luck, the weak might still prevail over the strong and ultimately enjoy the fruit of victory. That's Mahjong for you. And that was why I, someone who wasn't really good at anything, can win in Mahjong... That's the reason I fell in love with Mahjong.
